Hi, I’m Grace Margritz, a professional portrait photographer based right here in Colorado Springs—and I specialize in capturing one of the most exciting chapters in your teen’s life: their senior year. I go beyond the standard yearbook photo to create portraits that truly reflect their personality, passions, and the bright future ahead. I also specialize in creating memorable 6th-grade portraits that capture the last bit of being a kid alongside their developing personalities. For middle schoolers, I craft 8th-grade portraits that reflect their growing maturity, individual interests, and the exciting anticipation of high school.

We’re a retired military family of four, happily rooted in beautiful Colorado Springs with our two wonderful kids and our beloved pups—Tessa, our loyal German Shepherd, and Oreo, our playful Shorkie. We love exploring scenic roads, taking in Colorado’s breathtaking landscapes, and discovering the local gems that make this city feel like home.

My husband and I especially enjoy visiting breweries around Colorado Springs—savoring their craft beers, supporting small-business owners, and pairing our adventures with delicious local bites from nearby restaurants. Community means everything to us, and we love pouring back into the place that gives us so much.

Photography is my passion. I believe deeply in the power of printed memories—something tangible, timeless, and worth passing down for generations. I’m constantly learning and growing through workshops, always striving to serve my clients with greater care, intention, and creativity.

I specialize in working with high school seniors and children, where one-on-one sessions allow true personalities to shine. These moments fill my cup and fuel my passion. I also adore spending time with fellow photographers—whether it’s brunch dates or our beloved photo shoot days where we create, laugh, and inspire one another.
